    2017 Annual Wreath Fundraiser

By Stacey Elliott 10/26/2017, 12:30pm PDT

    Hello Synergy Families,
We've just started our Annual Wreath Fundraiser. The fundraiser will run Oct 25th- November 18th. Flyers were handed out last night to the teams that were practicing. We ran out of flyers but are working on getting more in the next few days. We are emailing flyers and order sheets to get you started if you have not received one.

There are 3 Wreath Sizes- Comes with handmade bow and pine cones. These wreaths usually come a bit bigger than the actual sizes.
Doleshel does a great job, the are beautiful, last for over a month and smell wonderful.
Small-Sales price is $21.00/Profit is 8.00 (size is approx. 15"-20")
Regular-Sales price is $26.00/Profit is 10.00 (size is approx. 26"-29")
Large-Sales price is $51.00/Profit is 15.00 (size is approx. 32"-36")

Once the fundraiser concludes, proceeds are applied directly to the players account, not the team account.

    A couple of notes:
    1. We will have two deliveries this year. One last week of November, one the first week of December. I am working on firming the delivery dates/times with Doleshel. (probably by team's: half teams one week, half the teams the next week)
    2. Parents will need to pick up wreaths or make sure someone else picks up their wreaths the day of delivery. This cannot be left for me to store.
    3. Pick up is at BLE

Thanks everyone for your help with this fundraiser. We sold over 750 wreaths last year bringing in well over $8000 to the players and families.

18u Damerow first tournament win of the year!

18u Damerow won their first tournament of the year with a very stressful final win over Washington Ladyhawks - Miller.  The game was in hand by Damerow early on with an 8 - 1 lead, but over time the Ladyhawks battled back to 11 - 6 going into the bottom of the 6th inning.   Kyla Damerow had pitched an awesome game through 5 innings, but gave way to Kiana Adams to finish the final frame.  The Hawks came out strong and were able to put 3 runs on the board to make it 11 - 9.  However, with two outs, time expired, and runners at 2nd and 3rd, the Hawks were unable to score the tying  runs as reliever Kiana Adams struck out the final batter.

As important as the final win, Damerow went undefeated this weekend. Great job coaches and players!

14u Tyree takes 2nd in a tough final game!

14u Tyree team has another successful weekend. I wasn't able to get all the details, but they finished 2nd place in the gold division. Tyree won their first bracket game handily against Seattle Fastpitch (12-1), a team which they had lost (6 - 5) to in a close battle during pool play. The championship looked like a slug fest with both teams putting on a lot of runs. The final was 11 - 8 with Flame '04 taking the championship, but Tyree battled hard for another weekend bringing home hardware.  Great job!

Synergy teams compete well in Acers Fall Championship

    Tournament Results

Synergy teams competed well this weekend in the ACERS fall championship.  The Tyree, Elliott, and Judge teams had 3, 2, and 2 wins respectively, with both Tyree and Elliott bringing home 2nd place finishes in their divisions. Great Job to the players, coaches and parents.

Tyree team came out on Sunday and won their first game on a nail bitter. I didn't get all the details, but they beat the team they had lost to on Saturday.  This win put them into the championship against the Diamond Dusters. This was a great game where Tyree came back from a two run deficit in the bottom of seventh to tie the game and go to international tie breaker. After going down by 6 runs in the top of the 8th they came back and scored 5 in the second half of the inning coming up a little short. Great battle!

Elliott started Sunday off with a 13 - 6 victory over a scrappy Acers team then run ruled a NW Bandits team 13 - 1. This put the team into the Championship against the Ladyhawks Hardy.  Unfortunately, we didn't have the exciting game like the Tyree game, instead, the Hawks laid the lumber to us pretty good. We'll take the 2nd place.

Don't have all the details in Judge, but the team made the Gold bracket on Sunday and went 2 - 2 for the weekend. They were playing some tough teams and held their own. Great job girls!

I'm finding out I'm not the greatest sports writer, but thought I should say something about the weekend.
